We've been extremely blessed/fortunate to have made through this rough and tumble year relatviely unscathed. May 2009 bring positive change to this country and the world.

Happy New Year
This year Eliana and I celebrated the new year by going to a party at a friend's house while Darryl and William stayed home and slept. Darryl is an "early to bed, early to rise" kind of guy (and he was sick as a dog), so it was his choice to stay home. Eliana and I had a great time, though. I had to coax her to leave at 11:30!! This picture, taken by my uber-talented friend Amy pretty much sums up the night.
