She's gone country

Eliana had a great time in Pine Valley. My aunt Andi brought down these darling cowgirl boots for Eliana to try out. It was love at first sight. You might not be able to tell from this picture, but the boots have pink up the sides.
Then she and Grandpa John completed the look by putting on cowboy hats.
Eliana found some carrots to feed to Ringo and Red Sox.
She even was brave enough to sit on a horse for the first time. She had a great time until Red Sox left the field and Ringo started protesting loudly.
It was idyllic, as usual, in Pine Valley. We stayed up late playing games on the porch one night and had to wear coats and blankets. Ahhhhhh...

I just got MaKaty some boots at a yard sale, and they are the cutest things. Eliana makes an adorable cowgirl!

Blankets? I am totally jealous! We are taking Emmy to ride a horse for the first time this weekend. Hopefully she is just as daring!

I don't know what it is about kids and cowboy boots but they love them! Eliana looks adorable! And both of you look beautiful with your hair done up so pretty.

It doesn't seem that long ago that I sat John on a horse when he was just a little older than Eliana. He seemed right at home. And he loved his cowboy boots better than anything! He even wanted to sleep in them! Maybe he still does.
Nahhhh. The picture of Eliana and Grandpa John in their cowboy hats is a prizewinner...
