First of all, may I present to you: The Trick-or-treaters!
Lizzie Lady-bugSpider-Will
Princess Butterfly
Somehow, Halloween has turned into a major holiday; second only in busy-ness (and probably business, too) to Christmas. We had a neighborhood trunk-or-treat on Saturday. Today (Monday, and ACTUAL halloween) we went to a trunk-or-treat at Ian's work (complete with some really cool cars)...
...and a neighborhood trunk-or-treat in my parents' neck of the woods. In between, we went to the mall to trick-or-treat around the stores. One of these years we're going to go REAL trick-or-treating to actual houses. Maybe when we're not wrestling a baby?
We met Kim, Braden, Stephany and Heidi at the mall. Sadly, I was already pretty burned out at this point and didn't bring my camera.
Eve, the Halloween fairy will be visiting our home tonight to trade toys for candy. She can eat all the candy she wants with no ill effects (lucky her). My children on the other hand could be documented to show any of the naysayers who say sugar doesn't affect children the truth. Sugar may not affect ALL children, but it certainly affects MY children. It's almost comical to see them change from sweet, curious children into demons of destruction. In any case, the kids were allowed to keep three pieces of candy. The rest goes to Eve (thanks to THIS lucky find at the public library, the kids are excited to see what Eve will bring them).
