I tried to post these pictures last week, but blogger sabotaged my plans. We'll see if it works this time.
We went to Pine Valley to celebrate my mom's birthday. Lauren saddled up her horse and the kids decided they wanted to ride. Grandpa John was kind enough to take them out. They both got two turns on the horse and would have ridden more, but we had to leave for dinner. We went to the annual Pine Valley barbecue fund-raiser, complete with an old cowboy band. We had a great time, though I ate so much I didn't have space for the birthday pie.
