More stitches, this time for Darryl. The hood of his jeep popped up--while he was driving--and smacked him in the face, splitting his head open. He also sprained his wrist. Thanks, Louie, for taking my bleeding husband to get stitched up.
I saw this on Louie's Facebook page yesterday and couldn't believe it - I really thought it was fake since Darryl is smiling. Hope he is feeling better :)
@mary-yeah, um, well...he took the windshield off, because the hinge was broken and he was going to weld it. @rachael-we went to a ward party later in the day and a lot of people thought the stitches were fake. @beth-sorry for the gross picture. My kids were confused by the smile as well. @kristi-he feels pretty dumb about the whole thing, so the more people that think it's fake, the better! @elaine-one can only hope! My dad dropped by the clinic just after darryl left and everyone was filling him in, "darryl just left. At least it wasn't will this time." Etc. You know it's been a rough year when the instacare staff knows you and your family on a first name basis.
