Over Spring Break we drove to Moab to visit Darryl's sister Suzie and her lovely family. We had such a good time! They live in a house built into a blasted out cavity of a rock in the middle of the desert. Their community is mostly self-sufficient. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins. Will and Tommy were two peas in a pod. Eliana and Shannon and Millie had a sleepover in the living-room complete with princess tents and stuffed animals. We explored canyonlands national park. Our favorite hike was one that went past an old cowboy camp along with some native american rock art.
We also took our Yukon on the Hell's Revenge trail in Moab. We only made it out in one piece due to Darryl's mad driving skills. There were people video taping us going over the obstacles, because they were so impressed:)
We hope to make the trip an annual event.
