Blessing Day

Lillian was blessed today.  My mom bought her the lovely dress she wore.  My parents, Ian and Kim, Lauren and Jex, Gordon and Dorothy, and my uncle Steve came to the blessing.  Brooke came by afterwards for the luncheon.  My friend and neighbor, Suzan Ort took notes on the blessing:

• Bless you to have the spirit with you throughout your life
• It will guide and direct you
• You will follow the Lord
• Bless you that you will learn the gospel
• Develop a personal relationship with Father in Heaven
• Bless you that you will be able to turn to your parents for counsel
• Bless you that throughout your life you will make good friends who will influence you for good and never direct you away from good things
• You are a strong part of our family; you will be friends with your sisters and brother
• You will grow strong within your family so that we may all return to live with Heavenly Father together

Lillian is a joy to have in our family.  We thank God daily that we get to have her in our home.
