Right after we moved in, Darryl and I had the opportunity to travel to SLC to attend the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We attended the Saturday morning session, and Darryl went to the Priesthood session with his brother Tommy. I hung out at Ruth's house. We had a gift card for a free lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, which was lovely. I rode the shuttle down Sunday afternoon and Darryl stayed to work in SLC that week. On the ride down, I happened to sit next to a therapist who works here in town. We had a good conversation. Ian and Kim watched the kids while we were gone. It was a lovely get-away.
