16th Annual British Field Day

Today we caught the tail end of the 16th Annual British field day at Liberty Park. It made Darryl wish his MG was finished. They did little time trials around a small loop--his car could kick the other car's tail pipes with the new engine he put in there. We'll have to go next year, though the racing club will probably frown upon his engine swap! :)
They had a lot of old Triumphs and Nortons. This one was pretty sweet. Eliana is making her classic motorcycle noise in this photo. She loved all the "cycles" and kept saying "sit down! sit down!" when we got close. She especially loved a little kid sized triumph (why didn't I take a picture of that?!)
A sweet TR-6. Darryl wants this to be the next car he swaps a bigger engine into.
Both Daddy and Daughter love cars!
A British-green racing machine! The lighting doesn't do the color justice. It actually has leather straps on front to keep the hood closed.
An MG-B-GT (she's a runner now). The guy who restored these painted them to look like cars that won some famous British race in the 70s. Darryl bought his MG from the same guy.
